What are the requirements for Students to start a course?

Beauty schools often require students to meet certain age and educational requirements prior to acceptance. Most schools set a minimum age and require students to have completed their high school education or equivalent. Although schools may set minimum standards before accepting a student to a program, they also have to comply with state requirements, so it pays to check those too.  If you are looking to find out what the requirements for attending cosmetology school and become a Redken ready Cosmetologist, look no farther:

• Admission requirements: In order to be admitted on the first day of class for an educational course and/or program as a regularly enrolled student, the student must have completed / provided the following documentation prior to enrolling in, and beginning, a specific program of study:
  • Valid Proof of Successful Completion of High School:
    • Copy of the student’s valid high school diploma or G.E.D certificate (or equivalent)
    • Official Transcripts
  • Enrollment Application
  • Personal Identification / Proof of Age:
    • Copy of the student’s identification, such as driver’s license, passport, or government-issued identification, or birth certificate
  • Enrollment Agreement, completed, signed and dated
    • The enrollment agreement must be fully executed prior to the enrollee starting classes
  • Registration Fee paid in full
